Working Process and Outcomes
Process:
We are going to create the general frame of the project as co-founders, then form the plan of the project with our partners on an online meeting. At the beginning of the project each schools- teacher and students- are going to introduce themselves. They will also introduce their countries and the cities.The other steps are like this;
-Creating WhatsApp groups to get in touch with each other.
-Making the teachers and the students to do the pre-test and post-test.
-Participating online seminars about digital addiction to understand what it is
-Choosing the logo and the poster of the project via surveys.
-Handling with cyberbullying
-Creating mixed country teams
-Using forum pages effectively
-Making online meetings to talk about the process of the project every month
-Working with the parents via online meetings
-Working with the other disciplines like ITC, Sports, Psychology
-Working with the institutions
-Considering the importance of eSafety
Outcomes:
At the end of the Project, we aim to make the students be aware of the problem and learn how to cope with it. While doing this, we are going to create many outcomes like leafets or brochures, posters, visual exhibitions, school boards, an ebook which includes the information about what the digital addiction is, what the reasons of it are , how they will be able to handle with it and solve it.

PLAN OF THE PROJECT
- OCTOBER - NOVEMBER
- Introducing the project;
- ● Meeting with partner teachers through webinar
- ● Creating Blog, Facebook pages and whatsapp groups, and instangram accounts
- ● Teachers will introduce themselves, their schools
- ● Informing school administration and other teachers
- ● Informing the parents and getting their permissions
- ● Registering students to TwinSpace
- ● Students introduce themselves in twinspace
- ● Students create logos and posters for the project
- ● Voting for the best logo and poster
- ● Preparing digital boards for the Project
- ● Applying the Pre-Tests to the teachers, students and the parents to
- to create awareness about the projects and digital addiction.
- ● Introducing the project on school websites, EBA, social media etc.
- ●Optional Activities: special days such as World Disabled Day, World human Rights Day
- DECEMBER / JANUARY
- Making a seminar with an academician (Yavuz Samur/Bahçeşehir University) to learn what the digital addiction is.
- Asking students to write down their Daily routines to understand how much time they spend on technology
- Applying smart phone addiction test
- The activities about the effects of digital addiction;
- encourage students to interact face-to-face by doing after-school activities such as volunteering for the community, making trips, making a debat entitled and making a video of these activities
- Making a Calendar of 2022
- Students will create an ebook including cartoons about cyberbullying
- Students will make postcards of New year and then exchange with each other
- Determining some useful online games playing them with teams
- Students will talk about their internet usage on forum
- Writing a motto to stop digital addiction and creating a school board or a digital board.
- Preparing a presentation about how the use of internet affect our life socially
- Drawing a picture about the overuse of internet
- Asking our students to create a cartoon about how the use of internet affect them physically
- Holding a seminar with an academician (Mustafa SAMUR expert on cyber crimes)
- FEBRUARY / MARCH:
- Monthly webinars
- The activities about the solution of the problem;
- Creating an exhibition of the products that is related to the hobbies of our students at school like a painted picture , origami, painting stone,
- Preparing a presentation about the facilities of the school or the city they live as spare time activities.
- Students use the forum and participate in discussions occasianally
- Reading is an important habit and to improve this activity reading a common book in teams, talking about it in zoom and doing kahoot about it
- Writing a story with visuals about a teeneager who has internet addiction in teams
- A seminar with Selçuk Şirin who is a professour of education at New York University in America. Talking about the solutions of the problem
- Making a video about eSafety.
- Preparing a collaborative work about
- Preparing a school board about International day of education with the help of web 2 tools like Wordart…
- Making a digital board about Safer Internet Day
- APRIL
- Having an inretactive video activity with Ed-puzzle
- Creating an ebook (a common work) about what the digital addiction is, the negative effects of it and how to cope with the problem
- Carrying out posttests for teachers, students, and the parents
- Evaluation of the project
- Preparing an exhibition
- Creating certificates and choosing the best
- Netiquette
